| i have a pair of lepard gekos i have just got them they have lived together all there lives there both 2 years old how do i get them to breed or will they just do it when the time is rite ive got an incubater | 19-01-2007 by KAY GARDNER
| breeding can depend on a number of things and you can't just put two leopard geckos to gether and expect them to have healthy babies.the breeding conditions of both male and female have to be right.ie you have to prepare the right diet, the right temperature- 85 to90 degrees in the basking area, in the daytime,70 degrees at night-the right bedding and the right humidity for breeding.
Try www.reptilecare.com for information on breeding ,also www.vmsherp.com this will also give you guides on sexing and responsibility.if i started typing i'd be here all day.
Also www.reptilekeeper.co.uk has a basic caresheet to make sure that you are off to a good start | 19-01-2007 by tony
