30-04-2007 by tony	is it only the female that waves there arms as ive been told that both do it when there young mine is 5 month old and does the arm waving is ther any other way to sex it
01-05-2007 by nerys	both sexes arm wave yes, its a form of communication which occurs between all dragons, not just male to female. normally the dominant animal bobs, and the submissive animal waves. the normal way to sex them is by looking at the base of the tail, but it can be very hard to tell, even experienced breeders have been known to get it wrong there is a link here http://www.hognose.co.uk/4.html to a friends site, which has some pictures and explanations on sexing. the care sheet section is also worth a look hope that helps, you may just have to be patient and wait and see! 03-05-2007 by nerys	they will sometimes do it to their owners... mine used to "talk" back to me from across the room.. if i bobbed my hand at them, they would wave back, and if i waved my finger, they would bob back lol.. she may also me able to see her reflection in the glass doors.. so may be talking to herself too. N
