I am hoping that any snail lovers at this forum might take a few minutes to take a look at the conditions for themselves. google Search Brixton snails. 05-06-2007 by Jessica Dring	They are wild caught and sold for food? Dont think so. Cruel none the less. These animals are from very hot and humid areas, to be dumped in baskets out in our whether, you wouldnt see people doing it lizards or snakes would you!

The best thing your friend can do to rescue them is get evidence of the cruelty thats going on, and inform centres nationwide, see if any are willing to try take action. Aslong as she doesnt give up, it should be banned eventually.
05-06-2007 by Jessica Dring	Unfortantley, despite your friends good heart and intentions, buying them is actually CONTRIBUTING to the cruelty. The reasons are unknown to the sellers, who actually, dont care WHY they are being bought by people, all they see is the successfull side of the buisness your friend is supporting by doing this.

I have informed the relative authorites (again)and drawn up petitions.I also doing my best to bring this to light on very petforum that I can think of. If I were at Brixton I would't have the heart to leave the snails behind either. I do know what you are saying though. Thanks Danni
